Section 1: Scope and general principles

This privacy policy covers the mythos.ac website, the management dashboard and the MYTHOS review application (Scanner). MYTHOS processes only the minimum data needed to verify game integrity and provide a clear review report to community teams; it does not collect personal documents, private messages or browser passwords.

Section 2: The review application (Scanner)

The MYTHOS review application (Scanner) does not install itself permanently on the PC, leaves no background service or driver running, and operates only during the single one-time review session. The application performs strictly read-only checks; it does not modify, delete or alter any files or system settings on the computer. Once the review finishes—or if the player exits without giving consent—the application closes completely and does not continue running in the background.

Section 3: Data processed

For authorized staff signing in to the dashboard with Discord, only basic Discord profile details (user ID, username, avatar and managed server list) are processed. For players participating in a review, data is processed only after explicit player consent and is limited to game integrity indicators, general system and runtime state information, game-related session identifiers and a single desktop capture taken at the time of review. Personal documents, photos, browsing history and private messages are never scanned or collected.

Section 4: Purposes of processing

Collected data is used solely to generate a one-time review report, present it to the requesting server team, verify report integrity and prevent unauthorized access or abuse against the platform.

Section 5: Scan process and report visibility

A scan starts only when the player runs the application on their own PC and accepts the consent notice. The resulting report is transmitted over an encrypted connection and is visible only to the authorized staff member who created the PIN and their team administrators. If tampering, reverse engineering or abuse attempts against the software are detected, connection and device identifiers may be logged for security purposes.

Section 6: Dashboard and team records

PIN codes created in the dashboard, optional review notes, team memberships and basic activity logs are stored in encrypted form to enforce access control and maintain service security. Each team can access only the review records within its own authorization scope.

Section 7: Cookies and session duration

mythos.ac does not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies. Only an encrypted, script-inaccessible (HttpOnly) session cookie is used for secure Discord sign-in. For security, every dashboard session remains open for at most 1 day (24 hours), after which—or upon sign-out—the session ends automatically.

Section 8: Third parties and data sharing

MYTHOS does not sell, rent or share any processed data with third parties for marketing purposes. Review reports are shared exclusively with the authorized server team that initiated the review.

Section 9: Data security and retention

Data is protected in transit and at rest using modern encryption standards. Review and dashboard records are retained within system capacity limits for as long as necessary to provide the service and conduct security audits, and are rotated periodically.

Section 10: Your rights and contact

To request information about your data, terminate your dashboard access or ask questions about this privacy policy, you can contact the MYTHOS team through the contact page.
